PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retry communication which reached a radial timeout. SOLUTION: At the occurrence of a radial timeout, a revival job generating means 1b generates management information that makes a destination telephone number in cross reference with image data and stores the information to a revival job generating means 3b. When a correction instruction of a destination telephone number stored in the revival job table 3b is made by a keyboard 8, a dial information update means updates the destination telephone number corresponding to the instruction. When the transmission of image data reaching the radial timeout is designated and the corrected destination telephone number corresponds to the image data, a revival job execution means 1e uses the corrected destination telephone umber to make the dialing and to try the transmission of the image data.
