The invention concerns a pulverulent composition capable of being redispersed in water comprising: at least one water insoluble film-forming polymer (A) prepared from at least an ethylenically unsaturated monomer and at least an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with carboxylic function; and 2 to 40 wt. % relative to polymer (A) of at least one polypeptide (B) containing 2 to 100 amino acids. The invention also concerns the method for preparing said composition and its use.
