PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle supply source storage device to which torque required for rotation when developer is charged is suitably transmitted and also which is used for a variety of electrophotographic printers. SOLUTION: This device 40 for storing the particles used for the developer unit of the electrophoto-graphic printer cooperates with mechanisms (66 and 134) to feed the particles from the device 40 to the developer unit. The device 40 is provided with a container 53 in which a chamber storing the particles is formed inside and a first member 100 capable of detachably connecting with the container 53. An opening 68 is formed at the container 53. The first member 100 is provided with a first member function 136, and the first member function 136 can be engaged with the mechanisms (66 and 134) to feed the particles from the device to the developer unit.
