PROCESSING METHOD OF RADIATION FILM FOR DENSITY WITH A AUTHENTICATION DATA BY PATHOLOGY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely authenticate that a processed image outputted by a system is not changed by comparing displayed digital authentication data with original digital authentication data related to a digital image to authenticate an original image. SOLUTION: Logarithmic transformation is applied to the image by using a D-LogE curve with respect to an X-ray film for dentist to analyze the data. Decision of a region of anatomical interest by histogram is allowed by the logarithmic transformation and a gradation scale look up table is constituted by the decision of the region. The original digital X-ray image for dentist is further processed to decide unique original digital authentication data for the original digital X-ray image for dentist. The data is related to the original digital image data. When the original X-ray image for dentist is displayed, the digital authentication data to be displayed on the image is decided. The displayed data is compared with the original data to authenticate that the original image data is not changed.
