PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent danger that an operator touches a high voltage power source part on a part where a fixing device is attached by the releasing of Interlock(R) when a cover is closed in a state where the fixing device is not attached in an image forming device where the fixing device can be attached to/detached from a device main body on a condition that the cover is opened when the cover of the device main body can be opened/closed. SOLUTION: Only on a condition that the fixing device 3 is attached to the device main body and the cover of the device main body is closed, a protruding part 8c pushes and moves a protruding part 11b to operate an interlocking switch 6, so that the Interlock (R) is released, and the power source of the high voltage power source part becomes an off condition in other cases. Thus, as far as either of the fixing device and the cover of the device main body is not on an adequate position, the interlocking condition is not released, so that safety with respect to the operator is improved. |
