摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage to a drain pipe in case of urging a drain hose into an end of the pipe by projecting a plurality of ribs from a root of the pipe in a draining mechanism for an air conditioner having the drain hose urged to the end of the pipe formed integrally with a drain pan to be connected. SOLUTION: At the time of operating to cool, a drain condensed on a surface of a heat exchanger is drained through a drain pan 6a, a drain pipe 12 and a drain hose 13. In this case, a plurality of ribs 15 are projected from an outer periphery of an upper part of a root of the pipe 12. These ribs 15 are extended along an axial direction, connected at their inner ends to an outer surface of a rear wall of the pan 6a and extended at their outer ends until they are brought into contact with an end of a connector 14 at the time of urging the connector 14 into the pipe 12. Thus, in the case of urging the connector 14 into the end of the pipe 12, the pipe 12 can be prevented from being damaged. And, since a clamping margin of the connector 14 can be increased by decreasing an inner diameter of the connector 14, it can prevent the drain from being leaked from a gap between the pipe 12 and the connector 14.</p>
