PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the outdoor machine of an air conditioner which can efficiently perform heat exchange, etc., by adjusting the quantity of wind so as to eliminate the waste of the quantity of wind of an air duct for lowering the temperature of electrical equipment. SOLUTION: In this outdoor machine 1 of an air conditioner, electric equipment such as a circuit board 5, etc., are accommodated in a casing 6. The casing 6 leads to the main air duct of a blower 3 by the first communication port 61 and the second communication port. The first communication port 61 is provided with a damper 7 consisting of bimetal structure of sheet-shaped member. At low temperature, the damper 7 is in plate form and closes the first communication port 61, and the quantity of wind of the main air duct increases. At high temperature, the damper 7 bends and is transformed to open the first communication port 61. Moreover, the damper 7 may be driven by a motor or the like. Hereby, at low temperature, the quantity of wind of the main air duct increases, and heat exchange can be performed efficiently. |
