PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel, capable of improving luminance of discharge display cell, efficiently forming white barrier ribs at a low cost, lowering the manufacturing cost, preventing the generation of peeling of the barrier ribs from an insulated board, and having an even, accurate and fine pitch, and having the fine barrier ribs capable of forming a wide screen reaching 30 inches or more. SOLUTION: Barrier ribs 5 are formed by plastically deforming a coating layer of the barrier rib forming composition provided on a back surface plate 2 and a white surface forming coating layer at the same time and has a white surface layer 4. A space between the back surface plate 2 and the front surface plate 3 facing each other is partitioned in parallel with each other, so as to form discharge display cells 6. Plural electrodes 7 provided in the discharge display cells 6 and the phosphor 13 provided in the inner wall of the discharge display cells 6 form a PDP 1. |
