PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent field sealing material for protection of a lead wire connection part of a rotation detection device from being exposed to the outside, in a constitution wherein a rotation detection device of an electrically driven motor is built into a housing and the housing is built into a casing. SOLUTION: In this electrically driven motor, an aperture O and a slant recess 6e which is contiguous to the aperture O are formed in a case body 6 for a motor shaft, and a retaining part 11 which retains rotation detection device 10 on the inner surface and is filled with a sealing material 16, and a lead wire wiring part 13 which accommodates lead wires 12 on the inner surface are formed in a housing 9. The housing 9 is so built in the case body 6 for a motor shaft that a retaining part 11 is built into the aperture part O that the lead wire wiring part 13 is built in the slant recess 6e in a state such that ceiling lids 11a, 13a are exposed to the outside, and the exposed surface of the sealing material 16 of the retaining part 11 faces the inside. |
