<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device which simultaneously displays a picture and an explanation sentence, automatically and simultaneously displays them for reducing the trouble of the key operation of a user and continuously displays the picture even if the explanation sentence is scrolled in the same item. SOLUTION: The retrieval device is provided with a key input part 18 inputting a retrieval item, 8 cm CD-ROM (rewritable compact disk) 17 storing the retrieval item and an associated item having a picture associated with the retrieval item, CPU 24 retrieving the retrieval item and the associated item having the picture based on the inputted retrieval item, a display part 19 displaying the retrieved retrieval item and the associated item having the picture and a display controller 28 controlling a display. The recognition rate of a retrieved result is improved by displaying the associated item having the picture, the number of operation times in the key input part 18 is reduced and retrieval efficiency is improved.</p> |
