PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a homogeneous image of high density with using a dye which can be uniformly dispersed in a toner by incorporating a specified yellow dye. SOLUTION: This toner contains a yellow dye expressed by formula I. In formula I, A is a substd. or unsubstd. phenyl or substd. or unsubstd. naphthyl group, B is a substd. or unsubstd. phenyl, naphthyl or heterocyclic group, A- CH=N-B includes groups of ortho-ortho-dihydroxy-azomethine dyes expressed by formula II which include an azomethine dye developing agent having substituents which develop silver halides in the A and/or B parts, R<1> is an alkyl, fluoroalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, phenyl, phenylamino group or a group having an effect to develop silver halides, R<2> is an alkylfluoroalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, phenyl or phenylamino group, R<3> is hydrogen, a lower alkyl, phenyl group or a group having an effect to develop silver halides. |
