PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waiting time in the case of adjusting load related to an image forming process and to prevent the increase of first copying time by providing a means for adjusting the output of the load related to the image forming process to various potentials for a calculated printer operation mode. SOLUTION: The main control part of th engine control part 57 of a color printer 2 adjusts the output of the load related to the image process in the midst of standby so that a variety of potentials on the surface of a photoreceptor drum in the case of image forming operation may be the variety of potentials for a calculated copying operation mode. Relating to this device; when image data for the printer operation mode inputted from a computer 200 shows monochrome, processing which does not take much time for the development of the image data is performed, and then the image forming operation is started if the development of the image data is finished. When the image data shows plural colors. the processing which takes comparatively much time for the development of the image data is performed, and then the image forming operation is started if the development of the image data is finished. |
