PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dimensional accuracy even in the event of printing deviation at a wiring board, by forming a drilling reference mark showing the position of a reference hole which will remain on the wiring board as a Cu foil mark after etching, on a printing mask body having allocated pads for surface mounting components. SOLUTION: A printing mask 2 is used in the pattern printing operation in the manufacturing process of a printed wiring board, and, after regions to be reference hole positions on a body 2A are etched, scope drilling reference marks 3 are allocated which will remain as Cu foil lines. The scope drilling reference marks 3 make recognizable that the boring must be done by a scope drill and are allotted as Cu foil characters DS4 for the scope drill marks. Using a printing mask 2, components mounting Cu foil lands and via hole lands are aligned on the wiring board already bored by an NC boring machine, closely contacted and exposed and etched. |
