PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of enhancing discharge efficiency and improving luminance. SOLUTION: In an AC type PDP (AC surface discharging type plasma display panel), there is a relationship of W/H<3, or preferably W/H<2 which can obtain more remarkable effect, between the total width (W) in a discharging direction containing a discharging gap of a pair of discharge maintenance electrodes formed on a front surface plate and the height (H) of a partition wall formed on a rear surface plate. Bus electrodes 6 are provided at an opposite side to the discharging gap of the pair of discharge maintenance electrodes. The total width (W) includes the pair of bus electrodes 6. |
