<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely perform desired communication in a network, regardless of a relay section and a multiplexed section which are defined in a synchronous digital hierarchy transmission system. SOLUTION: This SDH transmission system 1 is provided with plural SDH transmitters for multiple relay 2-i-j (i=1 to 4 and j=1 to 4) and SDH transmitters 3 for relay, and also is provided with a network section which performs desired communication, regardless of a multiplexed section 12A and a relay section 11A in the network, in addition to the section 11A in which a desired network is formed by each SDH transmitter 2-i-j and 3 and which performs communication between the transmitters 2-i-j and the transmitters 3 or among the transmitters 3 and the section 12A which performs communication among the transmitters 2-i-j.</p> |
