<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media data communication system, that can be easily purchased by individuals and medium and small-sized enterprises, is able to integrate a media network such as a FAX network and a computer network, and realizes inexpressive communication of media data between remote sites using the computer network. SOLUTION: A 1st FAX MODEM circuit 306 and a DTMF transmission reception circuit 305 connect with a 2nd extension terminal E2 of a line switch circuit 304 in a way that the circuit 306 deprives the circuit 305 of a call reception state after the end of the DTMF signal from the circuit 305, and a 1st extension terminal E1 of the circuit 304 connects with an internal FAX equipment 301. Thus at first a CTI server 303 various information using the DTMF signal is informed of from an ancillary telephone set of the equipment 301 or the like, and succeedingly the internal FAX equipment 301 sends FAX data to the CTI server 303.</p> |
