PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera provided with a remote control function which does not perform release action even when a release button is inadvertently fully depressed in the case of setting a mode for performing self-timer photographing by remote control operation, and prevents troublesomeness in the case of performing focus lock. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a remote control mode setting means 16, a remote control signal receiving means 11, and an automatic focusing adjustment device 19. It possesses a half depressing switch (1st switch) 44 turned on at the 1st stroke of the release button and a release switch (2nd switch) 15 turned on at the 2nd stroke of the release button. When the 1st switch is turned on by operating the release button in the midst of setting a remote control mode by the means 16, the device 19 is actuated and also its focusing state is held. When the 2nd switch is turned on by operating the release button, film exposure is inhibited and the focusing state is held. |
