RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage and control research and development themes. SOLUTION: The RD supporting method is constituted of a step A for registering development manhour to be charged by developers, a step B for regitering developers' names in each engineering field necessary for the RD, a step C for registering manhour used by developers in each already researched and developed theme, a step D for estimating development manhour required for the research and development of an objective theme to be newly researched and developed in each engineering field, a step E for judging whether new development manhour for the objective theme can be obtained or not from the data registered in the steps A to C and the development manhour estimated in each engineering field in the step D, and an interactive examination step H for determining how to allocate developers to the objective theme and how to release developers from the already developed theme when the development manhour is obtained. Consequently judgment whether new development manhour for the objective theme can be obtained or not and the allocation of developers to the objective theme can easily be executed.
