PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably reproduce multimedia data received through a network without interruption in accordance with a scenario. SOLUTION: A data transferring device 111 which receives media data through a network is connected to multimedia servers 101-104 storing multimedia data, and then, a multimedia reproducing and displaying terminal 121 is connected to the device 111 through a high-speed LAN. The device 111 calculates the transmitting speed of media data at the receiving time by utilizing the traffic of the network, route information, time information, and a scenario, receives the media data required for reproduction in advance, and stores the media data in a buffer 141. Media players 181-184 on the multimedia reproducing and displaying terminal 121 acquire, reproduce, and display the media data prepared in the buffer 141 of the device 11. Since the media data required for reproduction always become accessible, the terminal 121 can stably acquire the data required for reproduction and uninterruptedly reproduce the data without interruption. |
