PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection device for efficiently display the image of the internal defect information of a specimen, including information regarding the shape and directivity of a defect with a single ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic inspection device is constituted by including an ultrasonic probe 1, an XYZ scanner 2, a water bath 3 that is placed on the scanner, and a control device 4 for controlling the ultrasonic probe and the XYZ scanner. The ultrasonic probe 1 is used, where an ultrasonic transmission/ reception surface is divided into a plurality of small regions. And, each ultrasonic transmission/reception surface and an ultrasonic flaw detector 42 are connected via a switch 50. Contacts 50a-50d are appropriately switched by a switch control circuit 60 and ultrasonic beams are applied to a specimen 5 in various kinds of modes. The image of the internal information of the specimen being detected by the ultrasonic probe is displayed on a monitor 44. |
