PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment using a thin and lightweight reflecting plate capable of irradiating the whole display part equally with light. SOLUTION: The reflecting plate 3-1 of a lid part 3 is machined in a fine mountain shape to guide reflected light so that it accurately reaches the whole reflection type liquid crystal 2-1 of a display part 2. The top of the reflection plate 3-1 is micromachined into fine mountains as shown by (a), so the light from a light source 4 irradiates a point B at an obtuse angle of incidence and is reflected by this reflecting plate 3-1 on a point B' on reflection type liquid crystal 2-1. Further, light irradiating a point C on the reflecting plate 3-1 from the light source 4 is reflected on a point C' on the reflection type liquid crystal 2-1 by the reflecting plate 3-1 which is micromachined almost in parallel to the lid part 3. The lower part of the reflecting plate 3-1 is micromachined into fine mountains shown by (b), so the light from the light source 4 irradiates a point D at an acute angle of incidence and is reflected by this reflecting plate 3-1 on a point D' on the reflection type liquid crystal 2-1. |
