<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize characters and graphics inputted by the respective pieces of information at the time of pen-up and at the time of pen-down. SOLUTION: A switching part 7 switches the output destination of pattern signals outputted by a pre-processing part 6 by pen-down signals and pen-up signals outputted from an up/down detection means 3. When the pattern signal is inputted, an identification part 9a compares the inputted pattern signal with a registration pattern stored in a pattern dictionary 8a storing the respective kinds of patterns at the time of pen-down beforehand and recognizes the moving pattern of a pen main body. When the pattern signal is inputted, the identification part 9b compares the inputted pattern signal with the registration pattern stored in the pattern dictionary 8b storing the respective kinds of the patterns at the time of pen-up beforehand and recognizes the moving pattern of the pen main body.</p> |
