<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a detecting distance even against a missile of small radar effective reflection area by forming a second tracking beam of large electric power ratio a signal to noise to irradiate in the vicinity of a target where the missile is estimated to be launched at following to the target, and searching for, detecting, and tracking the missile. SOLUTION: At tracking of a target, a received digital signal 17 output from a receiver 14 is changed over on time by a changeover switch 2, it is output as a received digital signal 24 for dealing with the target to a signal processor 16, and as a received digital signal 25 for dealing with a missile to a signal processor 26 for dealing with the missile. The signal processor 26 estimats the position where the missile is launched from the received digital signal 25 based on target information, and outputs a control signal for directioning a beam to the position where the missile is estimated to be launched to a radar controller 18. After detecting the missile, the missile information is extracted from the received digital signal 25, tracking the missile is processed, and estimated speed, estimated position in future, and the like are computed.</p> |
