The pump (3) consists of a rod (4) carrying several pistons (5) whose reciprocating motion raises a column of water inside a tube (1). These pistons contain a support (10) through which the rod (4) passes and a flap valve (11) resting on the top surface of the support. This support is formed of a hub (101) with radiating branches (102) whose free ends (1021) come in contact with the inside wall of the tube (1) to act as a guide. The flow through the piston is stabilized by wing sections (122) mounted on a hub (121).
