PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stator into a circular shape with good accuracy, as well as to secure and position it. SOLUTION: An electric motor 20 is provided with a stator installed in a casing 2, a rotor 7 installed concentrically with the stator, and a rotary shaft 6 installed in the rotor 7. The stator is provided with a stator core 4 having teeth 11 installed on the inner surface of the casing 2, cuts 12 each of which is formed between the teeth 11 of the stator core 4 and is increased in the width toward the inner side of the casing 2, a reference hole 32 formed at the end on the outer side of each cut 12, and insertion members 33 having diameter corresponding to that of the reference holes 32 to be inserted into the reference holes 32. |
