<p>An apparatus for cutting dry pasta strands includes a frame (12) and a guide rail (20) mounted on the frame. A bucket (16) is slidably mounted to the guide rail and linearly moves along the guide rail. The bucket (16) has a stepped pasta-receiving channel (32) including a cutting edge (80).
