<p>The mower disc (1) is mounted at an inclined angle on a shaft (2) and the edge zone of the disc is angled so that each one cutting disc half, seen in the travel direction, has between its side end positions a constant cutting angle greater or equal to ninety degs. Seen in the travel direction the marginal zone of the front disc half is inclined upwards by an angle opposite the overall face of the disc towards the cutting side. The marginal zone can be smooth or ribbed.</p>
