The invention describes an ointment for the treatment of haemorrhoids and is a product of the thermal processing of a mixture consisting of five (5) to seven (7) grams of powder of dried hellebore leaves, five (5) to seven (7) grams of powder of dried bramble leaves, five (5) to seven (7) grams of powder of dried aubergine with its stalk, fifteen (15) to twenty (20) grams of olive oil in which a similar quantity of plantago has remained for a period of about thirty days, exposed to the sun, fifteen (15) to twenty (20) grams of olive oil in which a quantity of balsam flowers have remained for a period of about thirty days exposed to the sun and five (5) to eight (8) grams of beeswax. This mixture undergoes heating in steam (water bath) for 15-20 minutes and then is cooled in a refrigerator or naturally, forming an aqueous ointment with a dark brown or light brown colour and mild smell, and is ready for use. This end product is used for spreading on haemorrhoids at a quantity of one (1) gram once a day for a period of 7 to 10 days, resulting in their radical and painless treatment. |
