<p>A method of directional reception using an adaptive array antenna unit, in which signals are received by a plurality of diversity receiver circuits which defer in adaptability to communication environments, and a selector selects a received signal of the best quality of reception. For each selection by the selector, the adaptability of each of the unselected diversity receiver circuits to environments is preferably subjected to a dynamic change according to that of the selected diversity receiver so that the directivity of reception can quickly and steadily follow the changes in communication environments of mobile radio transmission.</p> |
