DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING INFORMATION FROM THE BOTTOM OF A BORE-HOLE

The present invention relates to a device for transmitting information from the bottom of a bore-hole, wherein said device comprises a surface portion (1) which includes the following members connected in series: a pressure sensor (2), a signal amplifier (3), a narrow-band filter (4) as well as an indication and digital-signal processing unit (5). The surface portion (1) is connected through a hydraulic communication channel (6) to a portion (7) of the device located at the bottom of the bore-hole. The hydraulic communication channel (6) consists in a drilling fluid capable of displacement in a drilling string (not shown in figures). The portion (7) of the device located at the bottom of the bore-hole comprises a unit (8) for generating a series of hydraulic information pulses, wherein said unit includes an electro-generator (9) as well as a turbine drive (10). This portion also includes information sensors (11) having their outputs connected to a modulator (13) through an analog-code converter (12), wherein a frequency generator (14) is connected to the control input of the modulator (13). The output of the modulator (13) is connected to the input of a load switch (15) which has its output connected to the electro-generator (9).
