A welding wire charge, in which a welding wire is free of tangling and entwining even when it is taken out from a pail container at high speed, and it does not bend permanently. In a welding wire charge, in which a wire is given a twist to be stackingly stored in a loop, a wire holding member having a loop body holding portion for holding a loop body composed of a stacked welding wire and a wire guide portion disposed centrally of the member and having a hole, through which the welding wire passes, and which has a diameter of 180 mm or less, is disposed above the loop body.
