The device system has a connection unit (1). It also has devices (3,5,8,9,10) which can be connected to the connection unit. Each device has a system lead containing several connection cables connected to a system plug. The connection unit has plug devices (13-18) for the system plug for connecting the devices to the connection unit. Preferably the connection cable includes data and/or video and/or power supply cables. Preferably the plug devices of the connection unit, the system plug and the system leads are formed in a similar manner. The connection unit has at least one communication bus and/or at least one control computer (PC).
