Electric toothbrush

The electric toothbrush has a brush head in which two circular brush carriers are located coaxially about a common axis. To generate a rotary movement of the two carriers about the common axis, a rod (7) driven by a motor is connected at its end facing the brush carriers. The rod is designed as a thrust rod arranged in the toothbrush to slide exclusively linearly in the direction of its main extent, and has a fork with two arms (8,9) at its brush carrier-end. Each arm has a connection to one brush carrier that is displaced to the axis of the carriers. The arms are designed to be radial to the axis of the carriers and are springy.
