Low viscosity solvent system, useful for preparation of printing media for the decoration of fired and unfired ceramic surface(s)

Low viscosity, low surface tension solvents (I) are used in pastes and printing media for decoration of fired or unfired ceramic surfaces in cylinder printing; the solvent (I) consisting of glycol mono- or di- alkylethers, and/or esters of: (A) formic-, acetic, or propionic acids, aliphatic dicarboxylic acids with /} 6C atoms, maleic acid, fumaric acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid and/or citric acid, with (B) mono- or di- valent alcohols of <= 10 C atoms, and the respective polyglycol ethers, or monoalkylglycol ethers and/or with glycerol.
