An alignment apparatus, which is realized by a simple structure, can align flat seeds or products having a length such as cucumbers in a uniform direction. The alignment apparatus has a guide member 10, 10a, and 43 for determining direction of the flat seeds or products A, K having a length, and a mounting member 11, 11a, and 34a for mounting the flat seeds or products A and K on its mounting surface, and the flat seeds or products A and K are aligned in a uniform direction by a relative motion between the guide member 10, 10a, and 43 and mounting member 11, 11a, and 34a. <IMAGE>
