PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emphasize God's blessing and auspiciousness and reuse this Shinto ritual article as food after it is used by forming it by sea weed. SOLUTION: When a Shinto ritual article, for example, a treasure ship 1, is manufactured, a plurality of beltlike sea weeds are tied up in a bundle, this is further twisted, both ends thereof are bound by a string to form a sacred rope 2, two sacred ropes 2 are arranged to constitute a ship barrel, and a piece of sea weed is bent to form a sail 3. Decorations shown by marks (a) to (f) are assembled properly to complete the treasure ship 1. That is, this treasure ship 1 is formed by sea weeds except decorations (a) to (j). Since people believe that sea-weed is auspicious food, it is possible to emphasize blessing and auspiciousness when they decorate it at a doorway of a house on New Year's Day and God's festival and Shinto ritual. Moreover, the decorations (a) to (f) are removed, and parts made of sea weeds are cut into pieces to reuse it as food after it is decorated as a decoration. |
