PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a just new portable communication toy and information storage medium capable of automatically transmitting/receiving a signal and making communication with each other like a human. SOLUTION: Before starting a speech, respective portable communication toys 10a and 10b transmit a signal for a starting a speech for searching whether there is a speaking opposite party by informing their surrounding of the existence of its own equipment through the use of a light emitting element 12 at prescribe intervals. When both of the toys approach each other to a prescribed distance, a signal can be transmitted and received between them to automatically start the speech. The contents of the speech are outputted to outside from speakers 18a and 18b s voice 32a and 32b for conversation. The toy 10a transmits a signal 34a for conversation including speech data corresponding to the voice 32a by using a light emitting element 12a. The toy 10b receives the signal 34b for conversation by using a light receiving element 14b. Then, the toy 10b transmits the signal 34b including speech data corresponding to the voice 32b by using an light emitting element 12b. |
