摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass ceramic compsn. not contg. lead at all, capable of sealing a cathode-ray tube, a plasma display panel or a fluorescent display tube and excellent in strength. SOLUTION: This compsn. of glass powder in the glass ceramic compsn. consists essentially of, by mol, 2-37.5% SnO, 32-73% ZnO, 25-40% P2 O5 and 0-9% Li2 O+Na2 O+K2 O and has an SnO to ZnO molar ratio of <1. It is preferable that the glass ceramic compsn. consists essentially of 60-100 wt.% powder of a low m.p. glass compsn. and 0-40 wt.% powder of a low expansion ceramic filler and has 80×10<-7> -110×10<-7> / deg.C average coefft. of thermal expansion at 50-300 deg.C after firing.
