<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove organic compounds generated from building materials of a new construction or the like by placing a blower in a device main body that is provided with a suction port and a blow port in the back and front surfaces respectively, and also in the main body, placing a heater and an adsorption section contg. aniline or another amine compound in a gas flow passage for communicating the delivery side of the blower with the blow port. SOLUTION: In a main body 1 of this device, a heater 2, an adsorption section 3 and a blower 4 are placed within the main body 1 so as to communicate them with each other through a gas flow passage 5 and also, a suction port 6 and a blow port 7 are placed in the back surface and front surface of the main body 1 respectively, wherein an adsorbent 10 in the form of plural sheet-like bodies, that is obtained by forming granulated active carbon on which aniline or another amine compound is deposited, into sheet-like bodies, and a adsorbent case 11 are received in the adsorption section 3. At the time of using the device, when the blower 4 is driven while passing electric current through the heater 2, polluted air sucked through the suction port 6 is blown into the adsorption section 3 through the gas flow passage 5 and pollutants in the polluted air are adsorbed by the adsorbent 10 in the adsorption section 3 to purify the polluted air. Then, the purified air is heated with the heater 2 and delivered from the blow port 7 as hot air.</p> |
