<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the maintenance inspection of a timing belt wound on a cam pulley and a shim adjustment operation. SOLUTION: An engine structure comprises a feeding means comprising an oil control valve 6 which is installed on the upper surface of a cylinder head cover 11 and feeds oil to a specified drive means and an oil pipe for feeding oil led from an oil brought out part provided in the side wall part of an engine proper to the oil brought out part provided in the oil control valve 6. A vertical wall part 38 for covering the generally entire outer surface part of a cam pulley 2 and a peripheral wall part 39 extending from its outer peripheral part to the inner side of the engine proper are provided on a belt cover 37. The upper end part of the peripheral wall part 39 is positioned under the installation part of the oil control valve 6, and the oil pipe is disposed so that it can bypass the installation part of the belt cover 37.</p> |
