<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of an oxygen concentrator and also to take out product gas in a high oxygen yield. SOLUTION: On startup of the oxygen concentrator, in order to approach the concentration of oxygen in product gas to be taken out to a set value in a short time, the capacity of a compressor is maximized, and pressurizing time is adopted according to it (S1). After that, when a product gas take-out flow rate is determined (S2), according to the product gas take-out flow rate, an optimum feed air flow rate is determined (S3), and also optimum pressurizing time is determined (S6). The compressor capacity is controlled so that the determined optimum feed air flow rate is obtained (S6), and the opening/closing of the an inlet value/outlet value is controlled so that the determined optimum pressurizing time is obtained.</p> |
