<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the sound of a shot and make a golfer enjoy a pleasant feeling by providing a resonating member to amplify the sound of a shot when a ball is hit with the face of a golf club head body provided at the extreme end of a shaft. SOLUTION: In a golf club head where a head body 2 and a shaft are connected through a neck member 1, one opening of a cylindrical member 6 where a hole 5 is provided nearly in the center, is butted against the bottom inside the head body 2, and the periphery of the one opening of the cylindrical member 6 and the bottom inside the head body 2 are joined by a welding material 7. A flat plate 8 is joined to the periphery of the other opening of the cylindrical member 6 by a welding member 9, the cylindrical member 6 and the flat plate 8 form a resonating member 4. Thus by providing the resonating member 4 in the head body 2, the sound of a shot can be increased very effectively while retaining the structural strength of the head body 2.</p> |
