<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing characteristics of a differential pressure valve when it is closed by composing engaging means for engaging a diaphragm with an abutting member so as to allow relative movement in the direction generally perpendicular to the direction of energizing by energizing means. SOLUTION: A protruding portion 8e is formed to be integrated with the center portion of a diaphragm 8a. This protruding portion 8e is fit loosely into a fitting hole 8f provided in a retainer 8b and functions as engaging means. There is a gap C1 between the protruding portion 8e and the fitting hole 8f. This gap C1 allows relative movement in the direction generally perpendicular to the direction of energizing, even when the diaphragm 8a and retainer 8b are engaged, generated by springs 9c of both. As a result, distortion of the diaphragm 8a is controlled and the flatness of a bead portion 8d, provided to be integrated with the diaphragm 8a, can be maintained. Therefore, the ealability of the differential pressure valve 8 can be improved because a good seal between the bead portion 8d and a valve seat 5b can be achieved when the valve is closed.</p> |
