PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing rolled sushi, capable of efficiently producing not only conventional rolled sushi, but also rolled sushi having so-called California roll style which rolls food ingredient and laver in sushi rice. SOLUTION: This rolled sushi-producing apparatus comprises a first conveyer arranged in the lower direction of a hopper, a dropping feed means for dropping sushi rice carried by the first conveyer, a second conveyer arranged in the lower direction of the dropping feed means, a cutting means for cutting sushi rice carried by the second conveyer in a definite length and a shaping mechanism 6 for shaping sushi rice in rolled sushi form, and the shaping mechanism 6 comprises two upper rollers 61, a lower roller 62 arranged in the intermediate position of two upper rollers 61 and below, a wire conveyer 63 laid over in outer periphery of these three rollers, a spindle roller 64 carried at the intermediate for two upper rollers 61 and on the wire conveyer 63 and an opening and closing mechanism 65 for closely arranging or separating two upper rollers 61. |
