PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide three-dimensional display images for the optional range in a depth direction. SOLUTION: The image data of the tomographic images of plural frames 80B-80E are stored in a storage means 142 and the image data matched with specified conditions are normalized based on the order of a frame array through the plural frames 80B-80E in normalization means 502 and 504. Maximum values are selected through the plural frames for respective coordinate positions inside the frames in maximum value selection means 506-510 for the normalized image data and images are formed by the maximum values.
