PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the posture of a second boom to a first boom by simple operation without depending upon exclusive control lever or operating pedal, and to obtain the shape of a desired operating front proper to a working type easily in an operation driving device for a two-piece boom type working machine. SOLUTION: An angle sensor 34, a working type setter 35, a controller 36 and proportional electromagnetic reducing valves 38, 39 installed to pilot pipelines 37a, 37b for a proportional changeover valve 33 are mounted. The preset anglesα0 ,α1 ,α2 of a second boom 4 to a first boom 3 in response to the working types of the three places of an operating dial 35a for the working type setter 35 are stored in the controller 36, signals from the angle sensor 34 and the working type setter 35 are input to the controller 36, and a signal, where the second boom 4 is set at the angle corresponding to the signal from the working type setter 35, is output to the proportional electromagnetic reducing valves 38, 39.
