PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject complex with raised immunoreactivity, usable as e.g. an examination medicine with high cohesiveness, by subjecting aγ-livetin solution to irreversible reaction followed by removing insoluble components to facilitate making the intermolecularcrosslink at an antigen-binding site. SOLUTION: This solubleγ-livetin complex with raised immunoreactivity is obtained by the following procedure: as a specific antigen, a solution containing Streptococcus mutans MT8148 microbial cells is prepared; laying hens are immunized with the solution, yolk is separated from the resulting eggs and homogenized into a yolk liquid, to which water is added to effect homogenization, a 0.15%λ-carrageenan aqueous solution is added to the homogenized liquid followed by agitation and then filtration to form a yolk water-soluble protein solution, to which sodium sulfate is added, the resulting precipitate is collected and purified to afford anti-Streptococcus mutansγ-livetin-contg. powder; subsequently, water is added to the powder followed by heating the resultant solution at 60-80 deg.C for 10-120 min at aγ-livetin concentration of 1 to <50 mg/mL to perform an irreversible reaction followed by removing insolubles from the reaction product.
