<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket plug device for a public catch basin capable of preventing illegal connection of a drain water branch pipe to a drain main pipe laid below a public road. SOLUTION: A socket plug 2 forming portions to be linked forming 7, 7, 7..., each comprising a projected portion on part of a plug main body 3 having a water stop surface 4 on at least one end surface is provided, which can be inserted into an inlet socket to be applied and installed to a main drain pipe laid under a public road. A socket plug device 1 for the public catch basin is constituted with a wrench 8 for opening the plug having a linking portions 12 forming recessed portions 12 linking with the portions to be recessed 7, 7,... of the socket plug 12.</p> |
