PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a hand disk grinder to be suitably used for finishing of a ceiling, wall and floor in a construction site and to be handled easily by a worker who is on a trestle and assumes no unnatural postures so that the grinding surface is pressed on a surface to be ground at a constant pressure. SOLUTION: A telescopic handle 2' is mounted on its tip with a bracket 4 with a pin 5, to which a hand disk grinder(HDG) 7 is journalled for swing motion by 90 degrees as regards its grinding surface 6. The handle 2' is provided at its grip with a switch adapted to switch the HDG 7 on only while the handle 2' is held. Between the bracket 4 and HDG 7, a leaf spring 11 is interposed to press the grinding surface 6 toward a surface to be ground. |
