PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition exhibiting excellent flame-retardancy and mechanical properties by including a polyphenylene ether resin in combination with a specific flame-retardant as a dispersed phase in a polypropylene resin matrix. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 55-5 wt.% of a polyphenylene ether resin, (B) 45-95 wt.% of a polypropylene resin, (C) 1-30 pts.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. of A+B) of a hydrogenated block copolymer composed of a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene compound, (D) 1-30 pts.wt. of a quasi-random copolymer of anα-olefin and an aromatic monovinylidene compound, (E) 4-40 pts.wt. of an organic phosphoric acid ester compound and (F) 2-20 pts.wt. of a 1,3,5-triazine derivative of formula (X is morpholino or the like; Y is a bivalent group derived from piperazine; (n) is >=1). The composition can be used in the electric and electronic field and the automobile field. |
